In spite of multiple player trades over the past week, and new players coming in, things looked much the same for the Red Deer Rebels who continued their 8-game losing streak.

With just 17 shots in the game, the Prince Albert Raiders shut out the home team 3-0 Saturday night at the Peavey Mart Centrium.

The Raiders would score just a minute and a half into the first period on a controversial goal. Rebels' goalie Chase Wutzke was run into on the scoring play but there was no call from the officials.

One more goal in the first and a third goal at 8:26 of the second period would be all the Raiders needed to shut out the Rebels 3-0.

Chase Wutzke would end up making 33 saves in the game.

The Rebels record after 40 game is 15 wins, 20 losses, and 5 overtime losses. They are sitting in 9th place in the WHL Eastern Conference.

The team will hit the road for a four-game Saskatchewan road trip. Their next game is Wednesday against Regina.
