A video out of the Crossroads Hockey League back on Saturday night has drawn the eyre of the internet.
An altercation between the Rosetown Redwings and Kerrobert Tigers went viral after a clip from their game emerged early Monday morning.

The social media account shared the full play in the replies, as #6 for the Tigers Alex Parnitsky took a boarding penalty and game misconduct, only to be cross-checked in the face by #28 for the Redwings Cole Lewis in retaliation. The above post had 69,000 views as of Tuesday morning.
A few hours later the video made it to the World Hockey Report account, adding another 340,000+ views. By Monday evening the popular Spittin' Chiclets hockey podcast posted it to their account, currently at 447,000+ views.

While some hockey fans feel the hit was more than suspension worthy, others have the opinion that it was nothing more than just a rough hockey play. Some things are just part of the game, but was that specific cross-check a step to far?
