A two-vehicle collision on Monday night (January 13) on Highway 49 near Kelvington has left one man dead.  

An investigation by the Rose Valley RCMP determined that at approximately 6:00 pm, an SUV collided with a parked truck and a pedestrian on the side of the highway. The pedestrian was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.  

He has been identified as a 59-year-old male from Lintlaw, SK. 

The adult female passenger in the truck was assessed by EMS at the scene and reported no physical injuries.   

The adult male driver of the SUV reported no physical injuries but was taken to hospital for further assessment. 

Rose Valley RCMP continues to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
