Reduced hours announced for aquatic centre

The Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre (SLSFSC) has announced reduced hours for its aquatic centre that come into effect on Monday, Nov. 8.

The aquatic centre will be closed from 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.

These are the new temporary hours:

Mon. -Thurs.: 6 a.m.- 1 p.m. & 4 - 9 p.m.

Fri. - Sun.: 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Holidays (including Remembrance Day): 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

The SLSFSC facility hours are:

Mon. - Sun.: 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Holidays: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.

These revised hours will remain in effect until further notice.

The aquatic schedules have been slightly revised to accommodate these new hours.

CEO Blair Felesky forewarned changes were coming because of an acute shortage of lifeguards/swimming instructors.
