Motorists travelling on the QE II near Blackfalds can expect delays today.
Guardrail repairs are taking place southbound near Aspelund Rd., approaching the junction with Highway 597.
The right-hand lane is closed with speeds reduced to 80 km/h.
The repairs are expected to wrap up around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Drivers can also expect delays on Highway 2 northbound south of junction Highway 12 between Blackfalds and Lacombe due to emergency bridge repairs.
Expect lane closures with speeds reduced to 50 km/h. Also, be prepared to stop.
