Pat Canadians down shorthanded Legionnaires

Playing without six regular skaters was just too much for the Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires.

As you heard on Country 94.1 FM's Local Sports Love, the Legionnaires dropped a clash between the 2nd and 3rd place teams in the Saskatchewan U18 AAA Hockey League 6-2 to the Regina Pat Canadians.

The Legionnaires were without six players due to injury or suspension coming out of their game against Warman on Sunday.

Swift Current got two goals from Jackson Fox to keep the game at times close.

It was a 1-1 game after the first period, but Regina pulled away.

The Pat Candians are now four points up on Swift Current for second place in league standings.

Swift Current is home against The Battlefords on Saturday and Sunday.
