After some wild weather over the past few days, conditions are looking to stabilize over the next week or so for Central Alberta.
Environment and Climate Change Canada meteorologist Heather Rombough says temperatures will remain above average for the foreseeable future.
"It looks like it's going to be pretty mild through the week. Temperatures are forecast to be around zero degrees basically through the weekend," she said. "It looks like this pattern doesn't really change a whole lot."
Skies are expected to clear Wednesday afternoon with a northwest wind gusting to 50 km/h. The high for Wednesday is minus one with a wind chill of minus 12. Winds are expected to taper off overnight with a low of minus 14 and a wind chill of minus 20.
Thursday will see a high of zero, with highs of minus three and zero for Friday and Saturday respectively. Overnight lows will hover around minus 10 for the next few days.
The normal high for this time of year is around minus six, while the average low is minus 18.
