The Blackfalds Bulldogs have announced the signing of 2007-born forward, Daniel Hussa.
The North Wales, Pennsylvania product played for the New Jersey Rockets 18U AAA team.
In 54 games with the Rockets this season, Hussa scored 33 goals and 61 points.
The six-foot-four, 192-pound forward has an NCAA Division I commitment to the University of Vermont.
“I am very excited to have Danny sign with the Bulldogs for the rest of this season. He was a very sought-after player in our league and we are lucky to get a power forward with his size, skill, and ability,” said Director of Player Development Al Parada. “Danny is great off the rush and can play both sides on the wing. He has a great eye for the net and can score but also has great hands in tight as well as patience and vision.”
Hussa will be wearing number 17.
The Bulldogs return to the ice Saturday, Jan. 25 at home against Penticton. Puck drop is at 6 p.m.
