RCMP are reporting that the QEII SB lanes northwest of Ponoka have reopened. Earlier this afternoon, an overturned vehicle had caused both lanes to be closed.
In the meantime, blowing snow is causing icy road conditions in Central Alberta.
There is also a motor vehicle collision northbound on the QEII, north of Township Road 362, southeast of Penhold.
Expect delays in the area.

Highway 53 between Range Road 30 and 32, west of Rimbey has reopened.
