According to Earthquakes Canada a relatively small earthquake happened about 30 km ENE of Lake Louise.

The quake which had a magnitude of 4.5 M, happened at around 4:30 Sunday morning. Some people in the area said they could feel the earth moving, but there were no immediate reports of damage.

Earthquakes Canada says, on average over 4000 quakes are recorded every year in our country. That is about 11 per day. Of those 4000, only about 50 are felt.

The Province in Canada least likely to experience an earthquake is Manitoba, while the province most likely is British Columbia.
