Today's love story has lasted over 60 years! Let's find out about Ron and Carole.
When Ron met Carole he was actually supposed to be interested in her friend as he tells us:
"High School Gr 9 My friend wanted me to meet a girl he knew so we waited and along came Carole with her friend Pat I was supposed to be looking at Pat but did not know that I saw Carole and was in love from that moment We talked occasionally60 years married and them she invited me on our first date- a youth group dance at her church. We dated through High School and university and married in Aug 1969 and began teaching career in Swift Current"
And it wasn't hard for Ron to tell us all the reasons he loves Carole:
"Everything. Incredible mother of 2 boys and later grandmother to 5. Supportive of each other during career. After retirement we travelled to many places and had super good times. We continued to travel up until my Cancer diagnosis 3 years ago Carole has been supportive and caring and is a genuine loving person and has been her entire life"
