Monday night, January 27th, The Bentley Fire Department held their Annual General Meeting (AGM).
During the meeting, some members received medals for Years of Service and others were recognized with the Alberta Emergency Services Medal.
Here is a list of award-winning members:
Full Years Of Service Medal 2025:
Captain Jan Bickford has been serving for 14 Years.
Captain Curtis Dojahn has been serving for 14 Years.
Captain Jeff Vert has been serving for 17 Years.
Captain Steve Lush has been serving for 15 Years.
Deputy Chief Allan Bickford has been serving for 15 Years.
Chief Ian McLaren has been serving for 16 Years.
Promotions For 2025:
Thomas Jasonson was promoted from Firefighter to Lieutenant.
Bentley Fire Department was able to do some recruiting over the summer.
