Public engagement sessions are now underway to determine the feasibility of a disc golf course in Rocky Mountain House.
On Jan. 29, the town held an open house, that included a presentation from the Central Alberta Disc Golf Association (CADGA), and the Town Recreation Director, followed by a question-and-answer period.
Rocky Mountain House Town Council approved funding for the installation of a disc golf course and is now seeking feedback from residents to determine if there is a suitable location for a course in the town.

The Riverview/River Flats area and the area adjacent to the high school campus have been identified as potential locations for an 18-hole course.
Location considerations include space, proximity to existing facilities, terrain, and land availability.
A public feedback survey is now available until Feb. 28.
“Council thanks residents for the feedback on the disc golf course location we have already received,” said Len Phillips, Acting Mayor. “I invite any residents who have not yet completed the public survey, to do so.”
