Talon Brigley and Kalan Lind each scored a goal, while Derek Thurston sealed the victory with an empty-netter.

Red Deer will close out their four-game road trip Saturday night in Moose Jaw.

Brigley got the Rebels off to a hot start, scoring on Red Deer's first shot of the game as he tipped home a shot by Doogan Pederson.

The Rebels extended their lead in the second, as Lind put home a rebound past Pats goalie Kelton Pyne.

Thurston put the Rebels up 3-0 with just over 30 seconds left in the game finding the back of the empty net from his own goal line.

The shutout by Shore was the first of the season for Red Deer.

The Rebels outshot the Pats 21-18 on the night. Red Deer was 0-for-4 on the power play while Regina went 0-for-6.
