The Red Deer Rebels picked up their second straight shutout win Saturday night in Moose Jaw.
This time it was Chase Wutzke between the pipes as the Rebels downed the Warriors 3-0 in the final game of a four-game road trip. Red Deer was coming off a 3-0 win Friday night in Regina.
There was no scoring in periods one or two, but the Rebels did have their chances in the second with three power plays.
Hostilities picked up in the middle frame when Brady Ness was given a kneeing major and game misconduct for his hit on Beckett Hamilton. This resulted in a centre ice fight between Samuel Drancak and Max Finley.

The Rebels would take the lead early in the third when Noah MIlford beat Michael Hutchison for his first WHL goal.
Jhett Larson would put Red Deer up 2-0 a few minutes later with his third goal in the last four games.
For the second straight night, Derek Thurston added a late empty netter to seal the 3-0 victory.
The Rebels outshot the Warriors 34-16, going 0-for-3 on the power play. Moose Jaw finished the night 0-for-2 with the man advantage.
The shutout was Wutzke's second of his career.
Red Deer will host Moose Jaw again on Friday, Feb. 7 at Peavey Mart Centrium at 7 p.m.
