The Big Six Hockey League was busy over the weekend as the first round of playoffs played out.
On Saturday and Sunday, the Redvers Rockets beat the Wawota Flyers, 14-2 and 14-1 respectively, to make themselves advance to the next round,
The KW Oil Kings and Moosomin Rangers also took to the field, with their Saturday game going 4-0 for the Rangers and Sunday also going to them 9-5, giving them a 2-0 series lead.
Next, the Midale Mustangs and Carlyle Cougars faced off Saturday and Sunday, with Carlyle winning their games 8-3 and 7-1 grabbing a 2-0 lead.
The Oxbow Huskies and Carnduff Red Devils played a single game with the Huskies gaining a lead following a 4-3 OT win and getting their 1-0 series lead.
The next games are scheduled for this Tuesday, with Midale facing off against Carlyle and Oxbow playing Carnduff.
