The Blackfalds Bulldogs have announced that 2007-born defenceman, Jackson Accardi, has committed to the team for the 2025-2026 BCHL season.

The Yardley, Pennsylvania product played for Council Rock High North (USHS-PA) as well as the New Jersey Rockets 18U AAA team. 

In 10 games with Council Rock High North, Accardi had 23 goals and 38 points. 

“I am extremely excited to get started with the Bulldogs," said Accardi. "They have an amazing set up with the staff, facilities, and great people on the team. I am looking forward to what’s to come.” 

In 54 games with the Rockets this season, Accardi scored 10 goals and 30 points. 

“Jackson is a big strong body who has a very good, heavy, accurate shot," noted Bulldogs’ Director of Player Development Al Parada. "He makes a great first pass and is a very physical player who can also one-time pucks on the power play.” 

The Bulldogs are looking to win their third straight when they travel to Cranbook this Friday (Feb. 7). Puck drop is at 7 p.m.

Blackfalds is coming off back-to-back wins over the Okotoks Oilers.
