Coming up this Friday and Saturday (February 14th and 15th), The Red Deer Downtown Business Association (DBA) is presenting Polar Glow.

Polar Glow is a two-day winter installation event featuring glowing art pieces, live ice sculpting, and family-friendly activities for all ages.

Amanda Gould, The CEO of the DBA says it's going to be great. "We have all sorts of fun things happening on the Ross Street Patio in the Entertainment district of Downtown. It all starts with the ice sculpture installation on Friday. Of course, we are hoping it's not quite as cold as it has been, as there are lots of activities for the whole family and we're encouraging people to come Downtown and see all of the great things we have to offer."

Anyone heading to the event can experience ice crafts, lantern-making, and a chance to warm up with hot chocolate and marshmallow roasting. There will also be live entertainment, including performing arts shows and a dance with Juiced Events.
