Update: SLFD responds to garage fire in Bowman Circle Thursday afternoon

The Sylvan Lake Fire Department responded to a detached garage fire in Bowman Circle on Thursday at around 12:40 p.m.

RCMP say the fire was put out quickly with minimal damage occurring to the structure.

The cause of the fire is believed to be related to a garage heater.

There were no injuries.
