The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Centre (CAPCC) has updated its logo and brand colours.
"Colours are powerful communication tools and can be more effective than words. They influence our thinking, inspire decision-making, and promote emotional resonance," said Lisa Smith, Executive Director. "We have carefully chosen colours that reflect our values as an organization,"
The new colours are orange, cherry red, and yellow.
"These colours are rooted in hope, and a splash of colour can make all the difference, bringing meaning to life's experiences!" noted Smith.
The CAPCC serves 300-400 clients annually and conducts nearly 2,000 client visits in Red Deer, Rocky Mountain House, and Stettler Centre locations.
The Centre has grown from the early years of offering pregnancy options and material support to several programs, including pregnancy and birth education, pregnancy-related grief support, after-abortion support, parenting, healthy relationships, and financial literacy.
Since 2016, a unique maternity home program in Red Deer has provided a safe and supportive living environment for pregnant individuals who may not have a stable home situation, ensuring they have the resources and support they need during their pregnancy and beyond.
The CAPCC now employs close to 20 full and part-time staff.
