The Red Deer Rebels saw their three-game win streak end Saturday night at the Centrium falling 4-0 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in front of almost 4,400 fans.
The Hurricanes won their franchise-record ninth consecutive road game putting up three power play goals against the Rebels.
Red Deer was called for a double-minor late in the first period leading to a pair of Lethbridge power play markers.
The Hurricanes would add to their lead in the third, again scoring on a four-minute power play.
Carsen Adair sealed the victory for the visitors beating Chase Wutzke to round out the night.
Lethbridge outshot Red Deer 28-25 and was 3-for-5 on the power play while the Rebels went 0-for-1.
The Rebels wrap up their three-game home stand Tuesday night (Feb. 11) at home against the Regina Pats. Red Deer will then head to Lethbridge for a rematch against the Hurricanes on Wednesday.
