Fire crews called to alarm, minor crash in Estevan

Estevan Fire Rescue responded to two calls over the past week, but neither required emergency intervention.

On Feb. 6 at about 12:30 p.m., crews were dispatched to a commercial fire alarm in the city’s northeast. Firefighters confirmed the alarm had been triggered by system maintenance, with no emergency occurring.

On Feb. 9 at about 10:25 a.m., crews responded to a two-vehicle collision in Estevan’s south end. There were no injuries or entrapments, and the vehicles sustained only minor damage.
