The Town of Olds says that the utility bills that were sent out to residents on Monday (Feb. 10) contained an error.
The Town says they are actively working to correct the issue, and adjustments will be made as soon as possible.
- If you are on e-billing, you will receive a corrected invoice shortly.
- If you receive your bill via Canada post, a new invoice will not be sent, adjustments will be reflected on your next bill.
- No late fees or penalties will be applied due to this error.
- If you have already made a payment, adjustments will be reflected in your next bill.
"We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your patience as we resolve this matter," stated a Town of Olds Facebook post.
