A practice restriction has been lifted on an Estevan physician after an investigation was opened by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan in the summer.

Dr. Alexander Arthur was placed under conditions after complaints were received against his practice.

The conditions included Dr. Arthur needing to have a practice monitor present for any professional encounters with female patients.

Bryan Salte, an associate registrar and lawyer with the College of Physicians and Surgeons talks about their work behind the scenes.

"The result of that investigation was that he was not charged with unprofessional conduct and as a result, that meant that the practice restriction that was related to that investigation is no longer in place."
