Three Hills RCMP say they have identified a female suspect involved in identity fraud at a local bank.

Police say on Dec. 10, 2024, an unidentified female attended the ATB bank in Three Hills.

She provided the bank teller with a fake Alberta driver’s license in an account holder's name and attempted to deposit a cheque.

The bank teller recognized that the driver’s license was not authentic and prevented the release of funds.

If you have any information that can further the investigation, call Three Hills RCMP at 403-443-5539.
