The preparations for the upcoming 2025-26 season continue for the Humboldt Broncos.

On Wednesday, the Broncos announced the commitment of 2007-born forward Austin Polonoski.

Currently in his second season with the Pilot Mound Academy’s U18 Prep Program, the 6’2 185 lb, where he has collected 55 points (14g-41a) in 34 games.

Head Coach Brayden Klimosko said in a team release, “Austin is a big power forward who can make a lot of plays. The SJHL is a very physical league, and Austin won’t back down from that style of play and he will also be able to chip in offensively instantly as a young player. We’re very excited he chose the Broncos to continue his hockey path."

Polonoski’s 55 points not only leads his team, but he’s also tied for the most points among all players in CSSHL U18 Prep Hockey programs in Western Canada.
