UPDATE: Estevan intersection sees work continue overnight as second water break closes area

UPDATE:

The work on the intersection of 18th Avenue and 1st Street will be continuing tonight, as crews work to repair that.

As well, Bannatyne Avenue is seeing a closure as another water break has been reported there.

The city is warning that decreases in water pressure may be seen in the Northeast area of Estevan, including Souris, King, and Spruce Drive.

An intersection in Estevan will be closed as crews are currently working on repairing a water break.

That will consist of the intersection of 18th Avenue and 1st Street, with no through traffic including the north sidewalk.

No timeframe was given for the closure, with the city asking everyone to slow down when near workers.
