Update #2

On March 1, the Red Deer RCMP responded to a report of an unknown male who entered a backyard and stole a vehicle. 

A  heavy police presence advisory was issued while officers searched for the suspect. 

The following morning, police received another report of a break and enter where a vehicle was stolen.  

Officers located the suspect, 28-year-old Jordan Bell-Blowers of Red Deer, who has been charged with the following offences:

  • Break and enter with intent  

  • Robbery  

  • Carrying a concealed weapon  

  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose  

Bell-Blowers was taken before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded into custody.   

He is scheduled to appear in court today, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Red Deer.

RCMP are advising that the heavy police presence was ended as of 11:11 p.m. Saturday night.

Red Deer RCMP issued an advisory of heavy police presence.

Officers were on scene in the Kentwood area while they searched for a suspect. The suspect was described as a male with red hair and a bright red hoodie.
