RDP Queens Curling team wins Silver at Canada College Championships

The Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) Queens earned silver at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA)/Curling Canada College Championships. The RDP Kings would earn bronze at the National Championship.

In addition to the RDP Curling teams earning CCAA medals, the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings and Queens Hockey teams won their playoff series and advanced to the next round.

The Queens Basketball team put forth a good effort with a depleted lineup but dropped both games at the ACAC Women’s Basketball Championship.

The Red Deer Polytechnic Dance team had strong performances in Calgary.

The Indoor Track team achieved many top three results at Running Room Grand Prix #3.

This week, the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Volleyball team will vie for its 14th national championship held in Manitoba.

The RDP Queens Hockey team will begin the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) Women’s Hockey Championship Final on the road. The Kings Hockey team will compete against the SAIT Trojans in the semi-finals.

The Red Deer Polytechnic Dance team will host Crown Quest.

The RDP Kings Futsal team will compete at the ACAC Men’s Futsal Championship.
