The Olds RCMP Crime Reduction Unit located a stolen vehicle at the 7/11 in Olds on Feb. 27.
An investigation revealed that the vehicle had been stolen out of Calgary.
The driver was with the vehicle when stopped by officers.
The vehicle was towed and the registered owner was notified.
A 58-year-old resident of Calgary, William Stanko was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
He also had warrants from Airdrie and Lethbridge.
After a Judicial Interim Release Hearing, Stanko was released and will be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Didsbury on March 24.
