With spring just 10 days away, many folks in Southeast Saskatchewan are getting eager to dig in the dirt, mapping out garden beds, picking out seeds, and envisioning the bright blooms and fresh vegetables that will take shape in the coming months. Garden planning is an exciting time, full of possibilities, and the Estevan and Area Garden Club is here to help bring those visions to life with expert advice.
Their upcoming webinar on Tuesday, March 11, at 7:00 p.m. is designed to provide gardeners with professional insights into creating beautiful and thriving flower beds. "Steps to Creating a Flower Bed" features Sheila Bonneteau of Mannequin Gardening Solutions, a highly knowledgeable and engaging presenter with years of hands-on experience in gardening. Sheila will walk participants through the process of designing a new flowerbed or breathing fresh life into an existing one, sharing step-by-step guidance on layout, soil preparation, and plant selection. A short Q&A will follow the presentation, allowing attendees to get personalized advice.
Registration is $10 per session, and an e-transfer to estevangardenclub@gmail.com secures a spot. Participants must include their name, email, or phone number in the transfer details to receive the Zoom link.
