Another medal winning week for RDP Athletics as the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Volleyball Kings won gold at the 2025 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Men’s Volleyball National Championship. Colby Nemeth was named CCAA Men’s Volleyball Championship MVP.
In addition to the Kings Volleyball team earning CCAA gold and the Queens Hockey squad picking up a win in the finals, the RDP Kings Futsal team solidified ACAC bronze and the Kings Hockey team advanced to the ACAC Championship Final.
The Red Deer Polytechnic Dance team had strong performances at Crown Quest.
The RDP Rodeo team achieved several top 10 results at the Lakeland Spring Rodeo.
This week, the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Hockey team will host the Rustlers to wrap up the ACAC Women’s Hockey Championship series.
The RDP Kings Hockey team will challenge the Briercrest College Clippers on the road in the best-of-five ACAC Men’s Hockey Championship Final.
The Kings and Queens Indoor Track teams will vie for medals at the ACAC Indoor Track Championships.
The RDP Rodeo team will compete at the Olds Spring Rodeo.
