Red Deer Arts Council is now accepting scholarship and award applications for 2025.   

Submissions are now being accepted for:  

  • Princess Margaret Scholarship for Post-Secondary students  

  • Centennial Scholarships – both for Secondary and Post-Secondary students  

  • Waskasoo Bluegrass Music Scholarship for Secondary students  

  • RDC Music Society Scholarship for Post-Secondary students  

  • Artwalk Developing Visual Artist Award for practicing artists  

  • Emerging Artist Award for practicing artists  

  • The Diane Hermary Volunteer Spirit Award, via Nomination Process  

The scholarships and awards are intended to support and encourage promising artists, both student and practicing, in their continued development, while serving to raise the arts profile by celebrating and promoting the arts in Central Alberta.  

Artists of all genres and levels of experience are encouraged to apply for the various awards. 

Eligible residential boundaries include Ponoka, Stettler, Olds, and Rocky Mountain House.   

Applications must be submitted by April 1.
