Community Programmer Ali Clayton says there was no theme, noting they received a wide variety of mediums including acrylic paintings, feltings, oil paintings, mixed media, and rug hookings.

"We provided the canvases," she explained. "They're all 12 x 12-inch canvases and it was wide open up to the artist's discretion. We gave them the option to donate proceeds. They could donate 100 per cent of proceeds or they could take a share in the proceeds and earn up to 40 per cent of the final bid."

Funds raised will support LPAC's day-to-day programming which helps offer affordable arts and entertainment programming.

A celebration event will be held May 2 at the LPAC to close out the bids.

Clayton added that their Youth Photo Exhibit is still on display downstairs until April 11.
