Missing teen safely located: RCMP

Selkirk RCMP say a missing 17-year-old girl has been found safe.

RCMP say the girl had not been seen since March 8. They had originally sent out a missing person alert on the evening of March 10.

In an update issued Tuesday, Mounties expressed concern that she may be at risk of exploitation.

She was last seen on March 8, around 8 p.m. at a home in northwest Winnipeg.

On Tuesday, a short time after their second plea for help, the Selkirk RCMP sent out another release saying the teen had been found safe and returned home. 

The RCMP thanked the public and media for their help.
