Red Deer Public Schools is opening its doors to families and the community with the launch of its second annual Division-wide Open House Series.

Between now and May 15, 20 schools across the Division will welcome families to explore their neighbourhood schools, meet staff, and discover the many programs and opportunities available to students.

“Our open houses are about building strong connections with students, families, and the community,” said Chad Erickson, Superintendent of Red Deer Public Schools. “This is a great opportunity for families to experience what makes our schools exceptional, meet our incredible staff, learn about diverse programming, and see firsthand where students learn, grow, and thrive.”

Each open house will highlight the unique programs, extracurricular activities, and learning that sets Red Deer Public apart.

“While our doors are always open, this series offers a dedicated time for families to engage with their child’s school in a meaningful way,” added Erickson. “Families will leave their child’s designated school with confidence knowing that they are in the right place to learn and grow.”

“The excitement and engagement at last year’s open houses was incredible,” noted Erickson. “We can’t wait to build on that momentum and welcome even more families this year."
