With the provincial government announcing the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine for those between the ages of 5 and 11 Monday morning, there are some wondering when that will come to Weyburn.

It was announced the first clinic will be held in Weyburn on Thursday.

The walk-in clinic will be held at McKenna Hall between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. for that specific age group only. This is due to the slight difference in strength of the dosage of the vaccine for children, when compared to adults.

A second clinic is also scheduled for next Monday, also at McKenna Hall. That walk-in clinic will be from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Those who wish to get more information on other COVID-19 vaccine clinics can visit the Government of Saskatchewan website, or call (306) 842-8620.
