RDP dancer wins first place and dance scholarship

This past weekend, Red Deer Polytechnic (RDP) Athlete Brynley Peters (Queens Dance) earned diamond, first place and a scholarship for pre-professional dance training. 

In addition, the RDP Dance team received several special honours in Fort Saskatchewan.

In hockey action Kristian Lyon was outstanding in net for the RDP Kings Hockey team. On Friday, he made 38 saves, helping the Kings earn Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) gold and third consecutive championship. Lyon was named ACAC Men’s Hockey Playoff MVP.
