The Redvers Rockets managed to split a weekend and claim a title as they were crowned the Senior D provincial champions on Sunday.
The weekend started off on a bad note on Saturday when the Rockets fell in their second game of the series against the Edam 3 Stars.
The Stars secured a 2-0 lead in the third period, before the Rockets managed to climb back out of the hole and tie the game up 2-2. Another goal by the Stars with just under five minutes left sealed the game 3-2 and tied up the series.
In the next game back, the Rockets once again had the first goal scored on them, but consistent goals in the second and third periods led to a 5-3 victory for the Rockets.
The Rockets saw two goals from Oliver Poirier, and single goals from Kenton Miller, Koltyn Miller, Jordan Miller, Naton Miller, and Jordan Hoff over the weekend.
The banner will join the Rockets' Big Six Championship win from earlier in the month.
