The Allan Flames are the 2024-25 Twin Rivers Hockey League champions.
On Friday night, the Flames finished off the championship series defeating the Willow Cree Chiefs 8-4 and winning the series 3-1.
Cody Pongracz scored a hat-trick and added two assists. Keith Mitchell also had a hat-trick and added an assist. Brodie Senger chipped in with two goals and an assist.
Robbie Hufnagel made 20 saves in the win.
In the Wheatland Hockey League, the Kinistino Tigers claimed the championship title on home-ice defeating the Tisdale Ramblers 6-2 on Friday night. Kinistino won the series 3-1.
The Long Lake Hockey League championship will be decided tonight in Game 5. The Foam Lake Flyers and Drake Canucks split the two games on the weekend, Foam Lake took Game 3 on Friday night 5-2. The Canucks kept their season alive with a 7-5 win with a win in Drake. Tonight’s game begins at 8:30 in Drake.
