A busy schedule for the Swift Current Comprehensive High School Drama Club.
The student members of the club will be performing both Wednesday night and again in back-to-back shows on Friday and Saturday. These shows are the core of the Regional 3 Drama Festival.
Theatre fans have a chance to catch both 'For What It's Worth' and 'Princess Party Smackdown'.
Ezra Lloyd plays the role of Daniel in 'For What It's Worth', a 17-year-old from small town kid Saskatchewan. Lloyd himself is a senior member of the Drama Club and is looking forward to portraying the helpful nature of the character.
"He helps to bridge the relationship between the sisters that you will come to meet in the play," said Lloyd.
Aurora Garcia is a junior member of the Drama Club, and will be playing Olivia in 'Princess Party Smackdown'. The character is 7 years old and follows a character growth arc that begins with her being spoiled almost rotten.
"The performance is being held at her birthday party," explained Garcia. "As the play progresses, you really see the fact that she has never been told no."
Entrance for the Wednesday night shows is free of charge with a donation. Friday and Saturday viewings are $10 per ticket, which are sold at the door. Also performing at the Festival is Leader Composite School, and Westcliffe Composite School.
