Canmore RCMP, with assistance from the Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (SAD CRU), have successfully recovered four stolen e-bikes following a string of thefts in the community.

On March 25, Canmore RCMP received multiple reports of e-bikes and mountain bikes being stolen from locked bike racks near the 1200 block of Bow Valley Trail.

After reviewing CCTV footage, officers identified a male suspect linked to the thefts.

Two days later, on March 27, the SAD CRU located and arrested 38-year-old Blake Joseph Clark of Calgary. Investigators were able to recover all four stolen bikes.
