E-scooter operator sustains injuries after being hit by vehicle

An individual riding an e-scooter was injured Monday evening in Red Deer after being struck by a vehicle.

The incident occurred at the intersection of 77 St. and Gaetz Ave.

RCMP say the individual on the scooter failed to yield to a truck that was passing by at the time.

Police were unable to provide further details on the extent of the injuries.
