Cochrane RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run incident that took place on January 8.
The collision occurred in the Cochrane area, where the suspect driver struck a parked vehicle, causing property damage, before fleeing the scene without providing their information to the victim.
Police have released a description of the suspect, who is described as a Caucasian man between 70 and 85 years old.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey zip-up jacket, blue shirt, khaki shorts, and slip-on shoes, and was carrying a black shoulder bag.
Authorities have also identified the suspect vehicle as a burgundy Ford F350 Powerstroke.
Cochrane RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information regarding the suspect’s identity to come forward.
