Team China took a 10-3 loss to Czechia during the Wednesday afternoon draw at the BKT World Men’s Curling Championship at Temple Gardens Centre.

China drops their record to 6-2, while Canada sits atop the standings at 6-1.

Despite having three losses, Czechia has been giant slayers at this championship as they have picked up wins now against China and Scotland. They have a chance to take down another giant when they meet Canada tonight in the evening draw at 7 pm.

In other games this afternoon, Italy stole two in the sixth end and scored three with the hammer in the eighth to take a 8-2 win over Austria.

Germany stole one in the sixth end and also scored three with the hammer in the eighth as they defeated Sweden 9-5.

Up one with the hammer coming home, Scotland scored three in the 10th end for a 8-4 win over Norway.

Tonight’s draw will feature Canada versus Czechia, Japan against the United States, Austria takes on Korea, and Switzerland takes on Germany.
