With Monday’s entry deadline approaching, three more candidates have announced their intentions to run in the Airdrie-Cochrane riding.
Deraek Menard of the Green Party, Libertarian candidate David Sabine, and Tanner Staniewski of the People's Party of Canada have all been added to their parties' slates.
They join Conservative Blake Richards, Liberal Sean Secord, and NDP candidate Sarah Zagoda on the ballot.
Meanwhile, six candidates have stepped forward in the Yellowhead riding, which now includes Banff and Canmore. No matter who is elected, there will be a new MP for the riding after the Conservatives declined to renominate Gerald Soroka.
Dale Health is the Christian Heritage Party candidate and faces Conservative William Stevenson, the Green Party's William Marshall, Liberal Michael Fark, New Democrat Avni Soma and PPC Vicky Bayford.
April 7 is the nomination deadline, and Elections Canada will be releasing a complete list of confirmed candidates on Apr. 9.
