The Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre is gearing up for a night of music, community, and compassion with its upcoming Melodies of Hope fundraiser.
The event, featuring a live performance by the New West Symphony and Chorus, will help support the centre’s vital programs and services for the year ahead.
Held at Bow Valley Baptist Church, doors open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26 with the concert beginning at 6 p.m.
The evening will include music, storytelling, and a dessert table with treats available for purchase, all in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
“The community was absolutely incredible over the past year,” said Susan Campbell, Executive Director of the Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre. “Thanks to the generous support, we’re covered for the next year, but fundraising events like Melodies of Hope ensure we can continue growing and supporting more families in the future.”
Guests can expect more than just music, the evening will include stories from clients, information on the Centre’s work, and draws for giveaways.
While tickets may be available at the door, Campbell recommends securing them ahead of time through cochranepreg.com.
The Centre has set a fundraising goal of $15,000 for the evening.
“Every dollar raised helps us continue to provide support to women and families in need,” said Campbell. “We’re also encouraging people to consider joining our monthly donor program, Wings of Hope, which helps cover ongoing expenses and allows us to focus more on our services.”

The Centre’s next major campaign will be the annual Baby Bottle Fundraiser, running from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day, where community members collect spare change or donate online to help support programs throughout the year.
“It’s such a simple way for families, businesses, and schools to get involved,” Campbell said. “Together, we’re making a real difference in the lives of people right here in Cochrane.”
