After running wild on the score sheet, Swift Current Broncos forward Luke Mistelbacher has signed an amateur tryout contract with the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League.
He will join Iowa immediately.
The Steinbach native put up 42 goals and 51 assists to lead the Broncos this season.
Mistelbacher finished 8th in Western Hockey League scoring.
The Wild are the American League Affiliate of the Minnesota Wild in the National Hockey League.
NHL Central Scouting has Mistelbacher as the 72nd-ranked North American Skater for the 2025 NHL Draft.
As a 2005-born player, he is still eligible to return for another season in the WHL.
