The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit has laid charges in connection with a March 10, 2025, homicide in Red Deer. RCMP have identified the victim in the homicide as 23-year-old Mandeep Kaur.
As a result of the investigation, RCMP have charged 21-year-old, Gurpreet Singh, with second degree-murder.
A Canada wide warrant has been issued for Singh’s arrest. Singh is believed to have left the county and efforts to locate him are ongoing.
