A 39-year-old resident of Olds is wanted for violent offences after failing to attend court.
On March 28, Olds RCMP was dispatched to a report of a serious assault that occurred in the Town of Olds.
Upon arrival, a female victim was located with multiple serious injuries.
Dustin Martin, a resident of Olds, was charged with the following offences:
• Break and Enter
• Aggravated Assault
• Unlawful confinement
• Assault while choking, suffocating or strangling
• Assault
• Uttering threats
• Criminal Harassment
Martin was held in custody and released after a judicial interim release hearing.
He was directed to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Didsbury, Alta., on April 7, however, he failed to attend.
As a result, Martin was subsequently charged for failing to attend court. A warrant for Martin's arrest has been issued.
Martin is described as being 6' tall, weighing 170 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair.
